I just completed my 600N. I was going to use the Align 2 in 1, however with all the negative feedback I elected to use the MPI 6.0V regulator with a 7.4 LIPO battery and a Align 5.1V reg to the tail. Does anyone has experience with this setup? I have read they may not work so good powering the entire system, however my friend uses them in both of his Raptor 90's and he flies very hard 3D (He is a nationally ranked pilot).
While test flying with my friend we got a few twitches on the cyclic (not lookout just a quick twitch and then back to level flight) for the first three flights. Then he noticed I had my DX7 antenna straight out and suggested I bend it. Oddly enough the last two flight went twitch free so maybe it was the tx antenna and not the regulator.
Any suggestion?
