I was in Staples today and found a Canon Pixma ip6310d photo printer on the clearance table for $15!
I knew nothing about the printer, but had to buy it for $15! It was an open box item(probably the display) but all the manuals and cords were there. I also purchased a 30 pack of the Staples brand glossy paper on sale for $4.80!
After playing with the printer for a couple hours, I printed 10 very impressive 8x10 pics. The printer uses 2, 3 ink cartridges and the prints are water(and beer) proof.
I just read some articles on the printer and it did not get very good reviews. There is not a display built into the printer, and the reviews claim its not very fast(I thought it was plenty fast) They also stated a print cost about 8 cents.
In my opinon, this thing prints some damn good pics! With a price of $28 on e-bay, or $15 at Staples(if your lucky) I highly recommend it.

as a rule, the printers are not expensive. Its the Ink and Paper that rack up the price of printing. They almost give away the printers now days if you consider what you get for the price....the Ink and paper is where they make the money.

Totally agree. This thing did come with 2 ink cartridges. I priced new ink, and they are $25 a piece.
I have also noticed from other printer purchases that the ink cartridges they come with sometimes have less ink than the replacement cartridges on the shelf. What a racket!

Good Quality Ink for cheap, either re-fill yourself, or buy the compatible cartridges at great prices...

I don't represent the company, I am just a satisified customer. I used to have a contract that required printing 200 5x7's a day on inkjet printers!

Also, Kirkland Professional Glossy Inkjet paper (Cost-Co) is made by Epson, and is the exact same paper as Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper. about $20 for 120 8.5 x 11 sheets.

Now you know!
