The other night, Finless Bob and I were chatting and one thing that came up was how all these computer radios are out now and they keep getting better and better, but there's only one problem. All their manuals SUCK! They have a million different options in the menus, but none of 'em really go into depth about how to program mixes or how to set things up or reallly dig in and change model setup options, or what certian things are really doing when you make a change and why.

Anyways.... I was just wondering if any of you feel the same way and if anyone knows of where you can find more resources for that sort of stuff, rather it be online, a book or what. I think maybe over time Bob will be doing some vids on those things, which will be a Godsent to any user of a computer radio.

I agree, the manuals are written for a real noob type in most cases. And do no give enough detail about the functions.

But with the JR radios, I have never had a big problem with programming mine, as it seems so straight forward.

Figure it out and write a book :)

Ann Marie Cross did one, but by the time her 9c book got to press they released the 9cSuper

To a newbie, there's nothing straightforward about a computer radio. I have Anna Marie's book for the 9C. It's quite good actually and helped clear a couple things up for me.

As I'll be the proud owner of an X9303 in the semi-near future, I'll get a 1st hand taste of the FM part of RTFM I'm sure.
