I have watched Finless videos.
I have a Futaba 6EXHP and a T-Rex 450S CF. I can't quite get the coltrol arms mechanically 90 degrees.
I can using trim but does trim effect the total movement of the servo?
eg. putting a +50% trim on a servo. Does this take away 50% on the positive side (total movement).
Or does it just adjust the center point of the servo and the end points work from this?

I have heard of sub trim, but I don't think my transmitter has it.

You're probably wanting to adjust your end points.
Keep your trims in the middle, no sub trim (to start with), and your end points set at 100% 100%.
Then when you set it up, you try to keep that 100% 100% end points (or as close to that as possible). Each time, you test how far each end is away from 100% by increasing or decreasing the end point percentage till it binds or stops binding.
The distance between those two numbers is your 50% mark. So as you complete your end points, your 50% mark is set up automatically. (or damn close to it)
I'm not sure about where to place your trim for the throttle on an electric. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that subject.
What part are you adjusting/setting-up?
