~~~~~~~~ EDIT ~~~~~~~~
Big ? i keep getting is what am i charging.
I am going to buy some 3S 2000 or slightly larger LiPo's to support my Night Flying equipment.
getting too many neon's and el wire. burning up 8 AA batteries in about 12 min.
sucks to be flying with that much weight and then it dims and finally just goes dark.
hope that helps.
Thanks for all the input. you guys are awsome
I have a 902. It is much more powerful (200w - handles 12s), and gives you the option of choosing your balancers.
That is kinda apples and oranges. You are comparing a 6 cell charger to a 12 cell charger.
As Raydee pointed out, they are very different chargers. Both are excellent and you will truley enjoy both, no doubt.
How many cells are you looking to charge? What the 902 does is protect your future, meaning that if you ever go to a high voltage system, the 902 will do up to 12S packs. With 200 watts of power, you have plenty of charging options.
The BC-6 is an incredible, everyday charger. Everything you need in 1 box, compact, easy to use. But, if you ever get into the big packs, then you out grow it.
In the middle is the BC-8. Almost as much power as the 902, the BC-8 has 150 watts of power. A bit more features than the BC-6, but no built in power supply and 8 cell capability. A great compromise between the 2.
I think the BC-6 is an awesome charger only let down by the slowwwww charging time for a 6 cell pack (about 2 hrs). We really need a faster BC-6 or an AC/DC version of the BC-8 and that would be the one to beat for me.
Cheers
Sounds like you are fine with the BC-6.
3S 2000 or slightly larger LiPo's
For that range the BC6 is an excellent solution, the e902 is great but would be expensive overkill and a lot less convenient since you would need an external DC power supply and an external balancer (PB6) to go with it.
