500 3D Belt noise [Archive]

I just got my 500 3D in the air!! I noticed a slight "tinking" noise as the blades spooled down. When I spin the mains I can hear it intermittently. My tension feel good...Is this the sound of a twisted belt? or is this normal for the logo? Thanks,

I've heard you should use about 1/8" of slack. That's about where I have mine...I haven't auto'd it yet; that'll be the test to see if it's too tight.
