I always thought that the throttle hold switch can act either as a throttle hold OR Rudder dual rate switch for the rudder. But it's a combined switch.

At least if you've got "Auto Dual Rate EXP" (manual page 81) on "INH". In this case the two possible dual and expo rates for aileron, elevator and rudder are selected by the correlating switches (one of them is "HOLD - RUDDER D/R" for rudder).

I realized that when I gave some expo to the rudder but couldn't see any difference on how the tail was behaving. I programmed expo with throttle hold at position 1 (on -> motor off). In flight the switch was at position 0 (off -> motor on) and therefore the other (default) value for expo was selected.
