Ok guys, I've setup and assembled the kasama on my titan as per the excellent videos by Finless Bob. In the setup video he doesn't set it up for the extreme setup because he feels there maybe problems with the links hitting the head. Has anyone tried the extreme setup? If so please let me know if u faced any problems and how different it is compared to the setup in Bob's videos. Thanks!

Can someone talk about kasama head and write the linkage length for 3D +/- 12 °
Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what you guys are looking for but here's my experince.
With the link in outter hole in the washout mixing arm, and in the inner hole on the top mixing arm (Most agrissive setting) the link can strike the rotor head with extreme collective and cyclic settings. I had mine set to +/-13 and +/-9 respectivily (just to see what I could get out of it) and encountered this issue. I've since moved the top of the link to the outter hole. I'm currently flying set-up for +/-12 collective and +/-8 cyclic with red (ultra lite) paddles. I love this setup and see no reason to chage it. Having said that I am not Captian 3D, I'm more of a FFF loop-roll-flip guy.
As a solution you could look at the the Logo14. On the top of the long link they use a "J" shaped link that may clear the head and allow for more extreme pitch throws. Just an idea..... Hope this is helpful to you..

I have flown five times (yes five) I had a boom strike but I am not sure if it was boggin the head or somethin with the head +13 -13 . Here is the vid of my fifth flight. Please understand I have little if any hand eye problems(cocky=no) I run a backhoe for a living and hand eye is a day to day thing. Helis are new to me but not hand to eye.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dtU2__wuIs anyway here is my fifth heli flight

I am not trying to piss on your parade, but you need to slow down a bit. I see a lot of basic skills
being over looked. You also need to reduce the head speed of your bird...it is way to much. You will
find it flys much better.
As far as the the flying (other than what I said) you are doing great.
Way beyond me after five flights that's for sure. Take care and good flying.

Oh I don't mind pissers. My parades aren't very long. What basic skills am I overlooking? Hovering in any aspect? My biggest problem is the fact that I get very excited. I have calmed down a bit. Nine flights now and my govenor is now active. Guys who talk trash via the net don't bug me in the least. I appreciate the critics. Thanks for your input, long as no one gets hurt I can only improve on what I know. .
