We were definitely fortunate for the good weather today, and it was a great time. Lots of flight times, and great guys to hang with.
Rodney's wings were awesome.

Tomorrow looks like it will be another great day.

It was a good event. Alot of good people to hang with on rain day, friday.
The weather got better on saturday. The event went well. Data, Elvis,Mike and all others involved did a great job. Flying was safe by all. Will be back next year.

Most of the wings were awsome, some got crispie while pmax was in the air.

Damn guys...looks like I missed a good one! :( sucks missing Rodney's wing... Can't wait until BS on the 4th!
headed to a one-dayer in PA next Saturday...taking a bunch of freaks from VA/MD...were are going to take over the event! :banana :wow2:
on behalf of bchpa I want to thank all whom attended despite the tropical storm that hang around the area.
friday was a total mess, it rained cats and dogs, but it also gave the opportunity to see what these events are all about and more so what the heli community is all about.
at times there were 20 pilots sitting under a pavilion and helped each other with fixing and setups.
many of us went to a nice sushi dinner where the beast was able to see food on a plate that still moved (so he said  ), no matter how hard we tried, we could not make him try a piece.
same with rodney, if it doesn't have grease on it, it's not eatable  .
after dinner we hit to the hotel and cramped into a room were some of us (mainly the beast, but this will be a thread on its own) fixed and setup more helis and others educated themselves on the computer with educational videos
the beer was plenty and the camaraderie was second to none.
finally on saturday the weather was much better and we had around 50 pilots at the event.
the flying was awesome and again, lots of tips, helping hands and great camaraderie.
the flight line was busy and at any given time there were a minimum of 3-5 pilots in the air, so the action never stopped.
considering the amount of flights being flown, there were only a few crashes and most of them just little mishaps.
we all had lot's of fun, everybody was save and nobody got hurt, that's what really counts.
sorry that will got a little sick and had to leave with clint early, but hey, there is always a next time.
since nobody was able to fly on friday and bchpa had planned to give two sodas to each registered pilot on each day, bchpa also decided on saturday and sunday to just let pilots grab a drink when needed and forget about the count.
everybody was happy and nobody dehydrated
rodney's wings as always were a success to and he should really patent them and sell them to publix.
on sunday we had about 30 pilots left and the weather was awesome.
again lots of flying and helping and after everything was set and done, we looked back and smiled and knew that no hurricane and no tropical storms can get the heli community to the point were nobody shows up to a funfly and that despite the weather it was a great success.
again, we thank all of you who attended and want to let you know what an awesome group of people you are and it makes me as an individual proud to be part of a hobby were sticking together and helping each other is just as much part of the hobby as it is to admire someone else's flying.
we will see you next time (early next year during the winter month).

You couldnt have said it any better Data. And yes grease is whats give the flavor.
Just think how bad those wings would taste if I didnt dip them in the oil for awhile.

You guys were fun to hang out with and i am looking forward to hanging out with you guys any day. Data, Elvis, Mike and the rest of the crew did an awesome job but i think i will get them an alarm clock for the next event, flying starts at the first crack off light at least for me. Nice event and the jet demo was sweet and also low in regards to altitude.
