I have tried my razor today, i mount the tango 45-08 with 14.25 reduction, CCHV85 and akku FP4350.
HS it's 2050 rpm and the motor ~29200 rpm
I have +11° / 0° / -11° pitch at full range
I am not happy, my razor it's very slow when make a climb with full pitch, it's very slow to climb.
Where it's my problem??
I must change my motor?
Too big Akku?
Wrong setup?
Help me please it's my first electric

assuming the 11 deg is bogging the head i would try 2100-2200hs with about 9deg pitch. others will have more expeirience with your motor as i use hacker and neu only. will need to know what blades, batteries, wide open hs, what esc are you using, etc

I ran 12+ degrees with the same Tango and ratio. I initially setup for +-10 and it was not enough pitch to wake up the Razor. You need more collective range IMHO. Also, V-Blades will help you get hte exciting bite it sounds like you are looking for.

It deffinetly dosen't come close to the power of my 3DMP-E, but it weighs about 2 lbs more approx.
The razor for me is a very stable heli, nothing to crazy, but very predictable. I think the weight is the biggest problem with the heli. IMHO a 12s setup probably would have the power to get it to move alot better, but have no clue if those batteries would even fit.
With that being said, I am happy with the heli. Ir just dosen't have alot of spunk

Also, 4350 packs are a little heavy to give the machine "sparkle"
If you can get a hold of 3700 packs, this will make quite a difference
