Magnum Tail for the Turbine

Chris,

I thought I'd start a movement among the Turbine community to get you to release the Magnum Tail Gear box for the Turbine. I'm sure you could get a conversion kit made up for us. We'd all appreciate the extra throw and light weight. I know you keep telling me you are still testing it, but you know I fly it on my Gasser and you fly it on your turbine. If you want another person to test it I'm willing and you know it will get a workout.

Gee.....I was also surprised I didn't get a bunch of companies wanting to recruit me to rep their products after seeing my videos! LOL.

Wellll, Ok Lou, but just for you!!

The magnum tail gearbox is already available, all You need is the addition of the pitch slider. You reuse the tail rotor hub, blade grips, even the tail bellcrank.

The tail bellcrank does require a slight mod, sand down the top of the delrin cup to the next line.

So you'll let me put it in the Turbine? Do I really need a new pitch slide? I thought i could use the one from the Industrial tail.

I assume that the tail tube inside diameter is the same and I don't need to change the tail tube.

I think I have my fall project. I'm more then likely giving up on the governor idea.

The OD of the pitch slider hub is smaller for the Magnum.
