I started changing my old V1 frame out with a new V2 frame,"really like the v2 frame better. What i need to know will the V1 clutch work with the V2 clutch bell and starter shaft ??? :?:

The V2 clutch uses a different bell for sure, but I can't remember about the starter shaft. If I remember right, the V2 start shaft is larger in diameter than the V1 shaft.
If you're still flying a V1, you should consider the V2 upgrade. It's been discontinued, but there are still plenty around. I know of a shop here that can get it for well under $100. The new head alone is worth that!

No, the OD is larger on the V-II clutch. You can adapt a V-1 system to the V-II and vise-versa but you have to deal with the top start shaft bearing difference in OD.

By all means, since you have the V2 bell and starter shaft get the V2 clutch. The very poor V1 clutch was the reason TT changed the entire clutch/start system.

I ordered the clucth today guys. I really like the V2 frame much better and now understand how much better the V2 clucth setup is over the V1. Thanks to everyone for there help.
