Hi
Wich servo of the Futaba S9252 or S9452 do you reccommend for the Trex 600N?
Any other choices in that price-range I should consider?
Alos, what tail-servo should I use with a GY401, the S9254?
Btw, will be runnning 6V regulated, so a step-down is needed for the -54.

Both are great for the 600 - the 9452 are higher performance, much more expensive and have shorter leads (designed for cars) but have metal gears so much less likely to strip.
The 9252s work well but do strip gears on significant blade strikes but gear trains cheap and easy to replace.
I'd go for the 9252 if you can find them at good price - 9254 good for 401 but needs 5.1 lead - you could run a Hitec 6965 as a tail servo at 6V.

Thansk for the reply. But what do you mean with the 9452 being much more expensive? They cost 80$, the same as the 9252, at helidirect.com. An easy choice then, go for the 9452?

Its a easy choice if you trying to pick between the 9252 and the 9452 (aka 9451's replacement). Get the 9452.
If the servo leads (on the 9452) are like the ones off the 9451 you will just need one 6 inch servo extension for the elevator servo to reach the eletronics tray.

Go with the 9452. Metal gears,.11 @6v. Unless your a 3D pilot you don't need anything better. Even if you are a 3D pilot they still work fine just not as well as the JR 8717 OR JR9000S, but they dont' cost as much either.
