Just to let eveyone know, parts support will still be strong in the USA.Heliproz,MTA and RCHeliworks will still have the full line of parts.
Compass is working hard to find a new US distributor and will continue to support these shops directly till one can be found.
If anyone needs any help with your heli then feel free to ask here on the forum. There are still plenty of qualified Reps available to help with any issues you may have.

I'm thinking about getting the Knight 50 3D, but with the whole issues of the US Distributor being dropped, I'm very hesitant to buy a new kit. Is Compass gonna keep the only 3 US vendors fully stocked at all times with products, or will there now be a delay in getting parts support for certain items. I looked at Heliproz part support for the Knight and I couldn't even find a canopy for sale. That like the most basic thing that get broken in a crash.
I've crashed my Raptor e550 3 times, and 2 out of those 3 times the canopy was trashed.

HeliProz has the canopy's just not the windshields. I priced them Sunday and just checked and they are still in stock. I am having a little trouble finding parts as well though. They don't seem to have flybars in stock...That is automatic on a crash and I'm going to call them today and see when they will get some in stock.

Now Im very hesitant to order a new kit. Though I gotta admit, the Knight 50 3D is one HOT looking heli. I want one, but with good part support. :)

The parts support is there.....like I said RCHeliworks and MTA will have what you need if heliproz dont.

RCHeliWorks needs some work on that website. Seems that nothing can be added to the cart...Not sure if I'm the only one with this problem...I've been known to screw a computer up.
I am already ordering from heliproz but wanted to check prices from RCHeliWorks...Website seems to be a mess...

I didn't have any problems ordering parts today. Although they didn't have any flybar paddles in stock.... I'm beginning to think this may have been one of the causes for my crash...the paddle was loose no matter how much I tightened it. I don't think it is the main cause though. I found a servo screw loose on my elevator servo....I will tell anyone from now on to put a dab of loctite on their servo screws...Just a dab....The paddle really bothers me though....

Jeff, i had the same problem with my paddles...to cure, i put a drop of CA just to fill a bit the gap between the flybar and the paddles at the root. My paddles did not move since and it is easy to remove if needed. I was doing the same to my little-rex so i tried on my Knight and Voilą!!!

What exactly did you do? I have another set of paddles I'm going to use and will do this just in case to make sure it wasn't the problem.

Try part number 02-0553S 3D paddle set.
If you are still a begginer pilot you will want to keep the weights on as the paddle is much faster than the sport paddle, yet very stable in a hover as well.
These are help tight by a set screw and hub design.

These seem to be the same as the ones I have now. I have built the heli up to everything ready except I haven't worked on the pitches and what not to make sure they are right and linear. However, just to be safe I put on the set that I had on when I crashed and they are tight. I thought I had one loose, not sure now though as with a good amount of pressure and tightened down, they DO NOT move. I'm gonna fly this baby Wednesday and I CANT WAIT!!!!

Jeff, even well tightened, mines were twisting a bit so to avoid stripping the screws, i adjusted the paddles at level and just put a drop of CA at the join between the flybar and the paddles. They did not move since.
