Does anyone know how to set up the coaxial Esky Lama v3 (4 channel fixed pitch heli) on the Futaba 9CHP Super? I need to set the heli up so I can fly indoors this winter.
So far I have it set up on swash s-1 (mechanical mixing), but I'm having problems with the top blade of the coaxial. When I throttle up only the bottle blade will spool up until I get to about half throttle, only then does the top blade start up. With the original Esky Tx, both blades spool up together as the trottle is increased.
I'm also having problems getting any rudder response...
With the original Esky Tx , when full rudder is given (at full throttle) one blade will slow down or stop while the other blade increases in speed, and when full rudder (at full throttle) is applied in the other direction the blade that stoped will speed up and the other blade that sped up will slow down or stop.
With my 9c Tx I only have rudder response in one direction (I don't recall which at the moment) and it only causes one blade to speed up a little while the other blade doesn't change its speed at all. This is also tested at full throttle, because at half throttle the top blade is just starting up.
I've done all the testing without blades of course.
1) How do I get both coaxial blades to spool up and the same time?
2) How do I increase rudder response in both directions?
Any suggestions??
When I go to SERVO in the basic menu, I notice that the bar graph shows the rudder function barely moving when I work the stick and the movement is on the same side of the bar graph (doesn't cross the baseline). The other functions - elevator, etc. , move both above and below the baseline in the bar graph when I move the stick..Is it broken or is this correct?? I've only had the radio for 2 weeks - New from DeeTee Ent.
