When I ordered my Trex 600 kit RTF, it came with two X-treme power 4600 Lipos with balance leads. (8 point) With it came an adapter to split this into two 4-prong leads to charge with an E-Sky balance charger (included) with instructions to charge 1/2 of battery 1st (3s) then 2nd 1/2 of battery using other 4-prong lead. This charger delivers a whopping 0.75A! So I bought a TP1010 with a TP210 to charge this large battery fast. But when the TP210 arrived, I quickly discovered I cannot plug in the balancer leads from the X-treme to the TP210 as they do not mate so I can balance before charging. I know that EVO's and TP batteries wil work with the TP210, but the x-tremes don't fit. Are these cheap batteries?. Where can I get the necessary adapters to balance them with the TP210? I cannot find any information on them with google search, always referred back to RC Machine on E-bay listing where I purchased kit.

The lack of standardisation for balance plugs is a real pain. That appears to be a second or third echelon brand of unknown quality. Post a photo of the balance plug so we can tell what sort it is. FP have a number of adapter cables as do others.

Here are some images of the connector. I have a Y harness to plug into it but the plugs are of the same design and also will not plug into the TP210 balancer either.

It is hard to tell from those photos as we cannot see the top face of the connector, but it looks like the standard Align-stye balance plug. Can you post a photo of the other face ?

OK, great. So that certainly looks like the Align/Esky/DualSky/Hextronik style connector also known as JST-XH. So now you need a JST-XH 6s (7-pin) to TP210 adapter.
This is a REAL pain as the TP uses a mixture of different size connectors and is a real PITA in my opinion. If you look up a TP 6s battery you will see that they have two balance plugs attached. I think FP do it the same way, really dumb IMO.
I downloaded the manual for the TP210V and it seems that for a 6S pack you have to plug it into both Group A (4-pin header) and GroupB (6-pin header) of Bank1 (this has to be the hardest to use balancer I have ever seen!). Looks to me like you need an adapter for the wiring diagram labelled "3s + 3s". There is no picture of the connectors so I cannot tell what style they are. Useless !
I think you could get there with a JST-XH 6s-to-two-3s splitter cable and then 2 JST-XH 3s-to-TP adapter cables. Something like these:
6s-to-two-3s: http://www.wattsuprc.com.au/product_detail.asp?pid=EAB102
3s-to-TP: http://www.readyheli.com/DN_Power_Battery_to_TP_Balancer_Adapter_p/dn2tp_balance.htm
Frustrating business isn't it. Surely someone out there must make a suitable adapter but I have not been able to find it. Another option would be to sell the TP1010+210V (for about $300) and get another charger/balancer which naturally suits your batteries. Or you could sell your battery and get TP batteries that come with the balance leads to suit your balancer. Now you know why there is no standard for this balance leads, they work to lock you into a particular brand, especially the wierdo system that TP use!

I found this but I don't think it will help you: http://www.espritmodel.com/browseproducts/Thunder-Power-Adapter.html
Also a range of different adapter leads here:

BTW, it is easy to find adapters that go from 6s TP/FP to all the other single-plug formats so if you decide to change to a different charger/balancer (eg eStation BC8, eStation 902+PB6, Hyperion 1210i+LBA10, Hyperion 0610i or FMAdirect BalancePro) you will still be able to use TP or FP batteries in the future if you want to.

I already have the 1st adapter 6s-2-3swhich came included per original post, what I don't have and need is the second one which allows me to plug in to TP.
From the looks of it, I'm pretty sure you just solved my problem!
Thank You so very much Ken for your enthusiasm in helping me with this issue.
You're an asset to ignorance.

Another place to get them is from Airthunder.com . That's the same connector the Air Thunders have, and I use their adapter with my 1010c/210 combo.

Wow! Same as FP 6s Balance leads! This is the real deal! I can charge the whole darn battery at 6s without the split! Thanx Guys. You both just made my day!:noteworthy

Hey, I am glad you did these posts! I bought the same heli from RC Machine, and I have the same issue you do. The packs seem to work fine, but it takes forever to charge them. I also have two TP 5000 packs with the same charger you do, and now with this balancer, hopefully all batteries will be compatible with the TP balancer and charger.
Any thoughts on how good the heli was from RC Machine? I am pretty happy with mine. It came well made and well balanced. I crashed mine and had to re-build a bunch of it, and when I took it apart, they seemed to do a fairly high quality job in their build.

Hey,
I was in the same situation. It is frustrating on how as much as they sell these batteries, they could at least have different provided different options for charging them.I was using a an IMAX B6 6SP balance charger which I loved. Closed circuit (very important by the way) and easy to use balance charger. Unfortunately it only used the Chinese style balance connectors and as I started using flight power batteries, It was very hard looking for the chinese style JST-XH adapter for a six cell pack to TP adapaters( I dont even think they exist) I went to the local hobby store and they tried all the configurations above, and to no avail. Be careful as well, there are ALIGN style adapters to TP balance pulgs , but they are not the same type. Align , of course, has there own type of connector..geez..which only fits on their charger..go figure...
Dont waste your time. Its is hard finding adaptors for this application. I just went ahead and purchased the new Thunder Power TP610 Charger. It will adapt to both type of connections. From what I hear, everyone is moving to them, battery makers and users alike.
Anyone wanna buy a balance charger???:YeaBaby:

I am having a similar problem, I have the e-sky charger that came witk my belt cp, but I bought a extra pack. AP 11.1v 3s 1900mah 15c that is from apache, the problem is the connector does not fit the E-sky charger, does any one know the wiring diagram for this batteries as I see one red and 3 black cables and thought or rewiring to make it fit the charger.
