Does anyone here know what batteries the Esky 4ch transmitter needs to be able to use the charge port on it...I figure going through 8 AA batteries all the time will be a costly affair

anyone know? I've seen some things about putting NiMH I figure I'll try that once I find a package that doesn't cost a fortune

Rechargeble AA batteries work great. I have 16 of them from when I used the stock tx for my Falcon and for my Walkera. I use my futaba tx on the Lama now, so the only time I used the AAs are for the Walkera when it works. They last quite awhile on a charge. Just get a charger that can charge 8 AA batteries, I don't think charging through the tx is a good idea with the rechargeable AAs, but who knows. Rechargeable batts and a charger is pretty cheap...
