Anyone using these on their 600N? Has anyone experience with the built-in switch on these failing?

I ran one in mine for a while until I made the switch to 7.4V. No problems, but I do recommend putting some "shoe goo" or hot glue in where the wires come out to act as a strain relief. I saw a 3A fail because the wires were not secure on the heli, the vibration killed the connection the the board with the wires floppin' all around.
The install was to blame in this case, but better safe than sowee. ;)

no problems with these switches failing , most everyone is running these on their 600N , just do as Ticidytoc says , keep the wires from flopping around... this goes for any electronics...

If I wanted to add a separate and just leave the built-in switch on the BEC on all the time, where should the switch go, between the batterry and BEC or between the BEC and the RX?
Also, would just any switch be OK to use?

No problem with switch on a Raptor Titan Nitro [plenty of vibes here], BUT,,,
The Krappy brittle wires Align uses to supply voltage from battery is a joke.
Get rid of them and solder in some high quality multi stranded Silicon insulated 18 gauge wire.
Similar to the service wires on a 1500 MAH Lipo pack.
Those brittle bell wires are KeeRappp!!
