My DX7 / AR7000 tilts the swash back a few degrees when switching between S1 & S2 with identical settings - what is going on here, basically, the heli drifts backwards when switching between the idle ups. When you view the servo position in the setup menu, PIT,ELEV and AIL are centered at S2 and off-center with S1 - with the exact same settings. In Normal (above mid-stick where my settings are also identical to S1 and S2), its centered as well, so bypassing S1 and using only Normal and S2 results in an unchanged swash angle. All three servos are causing the tilt in S2 on my T-rex 600.

Can someone check this with their DX7/AR7000 setup? - swash tilt switching between S1 and S2 with identical settings? - Spektrum software issue? hardware issue? - some way to compensate with settings? - very strange.

You know, I was re-setting up the head on my 450 last night and I noticed this exact thing! I went through all the stick positions in both S1 and S2 and they are indeed identical, but the servo position screen shows the swash servos move very slightly when switching between. Like yours, S2 is correct while S1 moves. Also running the DX7 and AR7000.

I wonder what's up with that?

I was about to contact Spektrum and ask them about it.

Edit to add: I'd speculate that it's a radio issue, since the change is showing on the servo position display on my radio.

Each flight mode has its own trim-switch flight modes and look at the trim monitor on your screen-if they move you need to re center the trims:smokin:

You can add a 6100 to the list, it was driving me nuts and I could not find out what was going on. Now it looks like it must be the trim settings. I just rebuilt my trex model (don't ask) I will have to see if it is still doing it now since I am pretty sure all the trims will be at zero but I will check to make sure.

Crashed the crap out of a Blade CPpro over and over then I discovered the flight trim had been changed--probably when I was first using the TX and not too familiar with it-wham bang:thumbup:it's in the instruction manual but it should be in BOLD PRINT!
