View Full Version : Feedback Needed: Proposed LARGE FunFly in VA

Folks,

I am in the beginning phases of planning a large FunFly in Fredericksburg, VA. The field we are planning on using is part of a 300 acre farm and would allow for overnite camping. Although there would be no RV hookups there would be tons of room for everyone.

Currently we are thinking about early fall as a date, which will be coordinated with the other FunFly's so as not to conflict.

If we feel that there is enough of an interest we probably will secure some of the pros to come as well.

Please let me know your level on interest, plus which pros you might enjoy seeing!!

If you make it a HeliFreak invasion and do not make it on a weekend where there is another event. PEOPLE WILL BE THERE.

What dates do you have in mind? I see a lot of VA people on HF. F'burg is pretty central so it seems like it would get a good turn out. How can I help?

I have not been to an event in Virginia in a few years. I would most likely attend. Early fall sounds like a great time. Not too hot, not to cold. Even if it is a time of year that maybe a light jacket and long pants are needed to be comfortable that is great also. If your interested in holding the event. I can help you with some tips needed. I have been putting on an event in Birmingham for 15 years.

Thanks gang. We are trying to figure out the date. We want to be sure it doesnt conflict with any other Fun Flys.

I hope this comes together. I missed so many events this summer and this would be a chance to make up somewhat. Is there anything I can do to help?

yea i would like to attend this also..im new to the heli hobby but would really like to get out to an event this would be a nice one near by that i could get to. please keep us posted.
