shouldn't have to worry about the battery going flat ..... but....yeah , whats the point ???

Don't see the point. I am not a fan of all metal blade grips. They are harder on the bearings and also more expensive to replace parts if damaged in a crash. The metal grips fly no better than plastic grips. As for the direct rotational drive servo stuff. Again I don't see the point. Some people think crashing a Stratus now is expensive. With that setup the cost of crashing has increased dramatically.

I would say that was true with my Ion and Raptor but I would not say that is true with my Align 600e. The metal blade grips give a bit more "POP"!

well as i have been told the upgrade will be on the convertion only the grips will take some time, do you guys find anything intresting about the convertion, i would say think twice Kasama the stratus does not need such convertion, and by the way guys they are comming with a head for the trex 600 again whats the point the stock one works just fine

I saw a Kasama head on an Align 600e. It flew the same as far as the pilot could tell.

More direct control (pretty much slop in the stock plastic bellcranks/servo arms on the stratus)
Overall lower, equals higher CG, will fly more like the Ion-X.

Thats enough for me to try one when it hits the streets.

Call me crazy, but I would think Kasama would have a better shot at getting people to upgrade their Synergy's with stuff instead of the Stratus. Seems the Synergy quality is a little lower than the MA stuff.

Hyper-performance has the synergy upgrade stuff pretty well locked up though... Which begs the question, why can't synergy design their own high end components, aren't they selling a high end heli?

For the rex, a market -might- exist if they come up with some more adjustable / tunable head components, mixing arms and the like so we could play with bell/hiller ratios like on the MA stuff, don't you think?

I thought a Synergy N9 didn't need any upgrades. That was the selling point when it was designed and released. That everything would work fine with stock parts. Is that not the case?

That's what I thought too, but every one I've seen in the "wild" has had some "hyper goodies" on it. Look through the synergy forum and they seem to be all over the upgrades. Maybe it's just bling factor :thinking ?

Not really much of a Stratus is left in those pictures, they should just bring out there own heli.

Well the synergy does not need any upgrades i have 2 of them one fully loaded with hyper products and the other is stock the stock flies better

Well peter both are great but the synergy is easier to work on and even easier to get hold of the parts

Guys, I wasn't trying to turn this into a MA vs. Synergy debate. (Although those are always fun to read. LOL) Both ships appear to work great out of the box. All I was saying is that it would APPEAR that Synergy would benefit from better quality control which Kasama could provide. (Like the Hyperformance stuff does as well.) With MA one could argue the quality is already there.

Eric,
Yes my MA hubs usually dial in at under .001. If it will not dial to at least .001 or lower. I send it back. Have only had to do that one time in 10 years.

Pretty impressive David.
I'm very happy with MA, the quality and performance is much better than what I'm used to.

For what it's worth, Kasama already makes upgrades for the Synergy. I saw it on grandrc.com if you don't believe me.
