Flew flight number 300 on my Wren Turbine today, let's see that's how much Jet A? Craig B

Oh ... quite a few gallons! Well done, it's always good to hear of people getting a lot of use from their engines, that's what we make them for.

How many hours runtime is that?

Sara, I beleave it is at 52.6 at the moment, I had thought I was over that allready but I misscalculated when converting it before. Fat fingers on keyboard I suspect! Anyway the engine itself has been absolutely trouble free. I had some flameouts at around twenty hours which turned out to be a break in the ground wire going to the fuel pump. I expect I will get to around 65 to 70 hours before sending the gas generator in for bearings as I am running a max rpm of 137,000. Craig B

Just keep running it - at 137,000 you should get a lot more use out of it yet. Just listen to it when it spools down, if the bearings are starting to wear you'll hear it grumbling.

Sara, still sounds sweet, only grumbling so far is me. Craig B
