Ail +55
Elev +55
Pit -70
+/- 14 total pitch
have to check and see how much cyclic pitch I have. I had it at 60 and seemed fine but dropped it to 55 and it rolled faster and didnt bog the head. Maybe it was binding ?

well i got most of the bird together but i'm really having a hard time figuring out how to set up the dx7 with the GY401. I whatched both videos but it seems they skip allot of steps and the DX7 video just shows the radio set up. Finless videos talk about going back to standard mode to set up the gyro but i have no ideal how to do that on the DX7.
I don't ever think i'll get this thing flying and i feel like i've wasted so much money on this thing.
i'm so frustated I'd even be willing to pay someone to do a video of the dx7 setup with the GY401 connected to the bird so it's alittle more clear how this all works.

these kinds of posts are really counterproductive for beginners who might be reading. it makes it seem like you can just plug in some numbers into your radio and have a properly setup machine. the numbers on my radio are irrelevant. they happen to correspond with +/- 10° on collective and 7° on aileron and elevator because i adjusted them with a gauge on the blades.

What the video's again and go through it as shown "Finless " does excelllent vids and I learn't everything I needed to know just by his vids....
If it was easy then would it be as much fun when it all comes together
