Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of putting together my very first AP ship. I'm sure there's a lot of threads like this so I won't take up much time typing. :noteworthy

My setup as follows:

Trex600 CF
HS605 on cyclic and an HS5245 digital on the tail
Tango 45-08 / Jazz 55 / 45V UBEC / 10S Tanic packs
Helicommand 3A and using the internal gyro
Askman APLG 360 mount (DX6 rx)
900m downlink
Nikon D40
DX7 tx/rx

If any of you using the helicommand would care to jump in, I would appreciate it.

I am using a AR7000 with the helicommand and would like any tips on setup if possible.

I have read the booklet and hooked up the connections as follows below.

I'd like to know if this wiring is correct :

AR7000 -> HC Module -> servo's

Aile -> aileron/roll -> Left servo
elev -> elevator -> Right servo
Rudd -> tail/yaw (single yellow) -> Tail servo
Gear -> AUX (single grey)
Aux1 -> coll. pitch -> c. pitch servo
Aux2 -> PILOT (single green)

Any DX7 TX setting would be appreciated as well.

I'm just getting my flying thumbs back after a few years of hibernation so please bear with me and thanks again for any input/help fellows.

Jess

Jess, doesn't the Trex600 have 3 servos on the swash? If you have a 3 servo swash, there isn't one called 'collective' pitch. I'll need to check, but I think I have left roll servo, right roll servo and elevator servo on my Logo.

I have the servo's moving properly. It's the AUX/PILOT channels and I am wondering which Rx Channel to plug into and how to program them for ease of switching/flying.

Tx/Rx DX7.

Thanks again,
Jess

Your connection from receiver to helicommand looks correct. You know you will need to setup your DX7 from 120 eCCPM to Normal CCPM right? Helicommand will take care of mixing.
Do you by any chance also bought their PC connection kit? It will be easier for you to set it up by connecting to PC. Channel 7 can be map to AUX2 3 level switch, travel set to 50% from the beginning and you need to trim it after test fly. You don't have extra channel for AUX.
