Ok Main Shaft Bearings used to feel notchy, and I thought they were damaged but when I pulled them out of the heli and rolled them on tha bench they felt smooth!

when I switched to the new metal bearing blocks the main shaft slid down smooth as silk and the bearings no longer felt notchy!!

Ok so the lesson is don't over tighten the plastic bearing blocks including the cluch assembly because the plastic blocks can crush the bearings if too tight.

Make one side tight but test the bearings as you do up the other side and back off a bit if the mainshaft or the motor pinion starts to bind!

But hey the metal blocks are well worth getting IMO.

Ok so go fly now!

Cheers Mat

The results on my 600's vibration have been resolved. Oscillation had been eliminated when I did the following:
- additional torque tube bearings (I noticed a wobble on the TT from the tail rotor end)
- replaced my Align main blades to CYB and rebalanced my whole rotor head ( RADIX comes well balanced but I needed it for my personal assurance)
- balanced my tail rotor blades and replaced my grip bearings
- Fine engine tuning required specially with the use of Multigov.
- Replaced my bearing blocks with metal once
I am very pleased with the way it performed after all the above. No oscillation/vibration present from normal or switching to idle 1/2.
