Ok, I am getting all my stuff together for my new Hurricane and tring to come up with a set up for the radio, so I have been reading how you can take a 7.4v Lipo and plug it strait into you AR6100, and not have to worry about a BEC, but what about an AR6000? Can I do the same? If so will all my servos operate at 6.0v spec's? Also I have a Logitec 2100T Gyro, and it says it will operate up to 5.5v, does this mean I need to have a regulator for the tail. Thank's for all that read/respond to this.

Your receiver (even an AR6000) will run fine from 7.4v input. However, the receiver will output to it's servos, whatever voltage it's given. Therefore, you'd be supplying 7.4v to your servos as well, which WILL burn them out, especially if they're rated only for 5v max.
On the Trex 600e, Align uses a regulator (which they mistakenly refer to as a BEC) which drops the voltage of the supplied RX battery (7.4v) to roughly 5.8 volts, and then they give you a step-down device that drops that voltage down to 5.1v in case you run a digital tail servo that can't handle 6v.
Short answer: I wouldn't run a 7.4v pack directly into my RX unless I stepped the voltage down for all my servos.
