Has anyone used this one yet? Hidef at 15 FPS. Widescreen 16:9 capture, 10 MP OIS and more looks good. If you used it how did you trigger it?

I don't know about this particular model, but I have been using a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 and have been pretty pleased with picture and video quality. Based on my experience with the FZ7 I would definatley recommend looking into it.

It is the same as a Leica D-Lux 3. I tried that on my Trex 600. There is no simple way to trigger the shutter. I made a carbon fiber frame with a servo to push the shutter button. I have not seen an electronic trigger. If you are brave enough I am sure you can open the camera and solder two wires to the micro switch and use a simple trigger switch.

Does it do live video preview in 16:9 mode? Will it work with a standard NTSC video Tx for my downlink in 16:9 mode?

As far as I can remember it does live video with a down link. I have tried it in the workshop but never took it up in the air.
