View Full Version : R90 and R60 Servo frame
What is the difference between the plastic servo frame for the R90 vs. the R60? I see they have different part numbers. Is the location of the collective servo and the other servos the same?
I am in the process of developing a servo support system for the collective on these machines, and as far a I can determine the R90 version should work just fine on the R60 too.
Just hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.
Thanks,
Ron

Locations are the same, but the R90 frame has an extended tray out front from what I remember.

Ron,
The cooling fan casings/front part of the frame are different on the R90 to accommodate the larger head on the new OS engines. The servo tray is different to match the cooling fan casings. There are no other significant differences.
BTW I will be waiting in line for your servo supports.
Bob
Thanks guys.
I am already beginning some work on the supports for the 60/90. I just hope there is enough interest for them to pan out. Maybe I should think about posting something in the main discussion area to see how many guys are interested.

I'm a raptor guy. Most everything on the 60 fits the 90, Even if they are different in design, they are made to be interchangable. In general, the 90 parts will be beefier.
