Would it be ok to use a ar6100 in a raptor 50 as long as i keep it close. Just got the raptor and would like to start it and try hovering abit itll my ar7000 gets back from spektrum.

I've been wondering about that as well. I havnt read if its a ep receiver or not although it doesn't have enough channels for allot of larger heli's.

Spektrum site says 6100 for up to 450 sized helis.
I would probably go with a 6200 because of the second Rx to make sure there was no blanking by the motor.

It should be ok. I've seen the Ar6100 on a Knight 3D. I've seen it on a glider flown to be a speck in the sky.

on beginer day of spektum, people been using modded 6202/ar6000 on 50 size heli, it seem worked out well
