Since they are out of stock everywhere and according with Horizon Hobby they're backorder until November, what will be the right bid on the Spektum adapter;

But is not the same one the Spektrum looks adjustable.

One 1/4" x 3" SS eye bolt + 2 SS nuts + 1 piece black heat shrink= 1 balancer.

Put the eye bolt in vice with a nut about 1" from end and bend to about a 45 deg angle. Slip the heat shrink over the exposed threaded portion and add heat.

Use the two nuts to lock the eye bolt to the eyelet on the radio.

You will have full access to the On-Off switch and the balance point seems to be very close to the radio CG.

Well, thank you, Mr. mojopt, steal all my thunder, faster poster than me. And I thought I had an original idea. I couldn't find a balancer at the local hobby shops and didn't want to pay what one online costs with shipping. So today I built one for free from my box-o-screws. Fully adjustable and free. But I have to give you credit that I didn't think about the shrink tubing. So I quickly screwed it off and slipped some shrink tubing on it. Doesn't look all that bad now. Not flashy like some of the machined units but with my limited hobby budget the cash saved can go to some other more needed things. I can reach the switch fine on mine without putting a bend in it.

PS. I just noticed one for sale here for $15 shipped that looks pretty nice. If I didn't already have the parts to put mine together, or if I saw that post earlier, I probably would have ordered me one of them.

I really like the G-Force adapter and ordered one.

While I'm waiting for it to arrive I found a push pin in my hardware drawer that fit thru the stock strap mount hole and the locking balls on the push pin keep it from coming out.

It is not a tight fit and those who are concerned about leverage may not like it, but I do not swing my Tx by the strap. For normal use I do not think the stock strap mount will break.

It requires no alteration to the Tx to use. Just push the button on the pin, insert in hole and release. See pics.

Nice piece, works well, prevents accidental activation of the switch (on or off) and supports a fellow HeliFreak.

will your strap eventually break the radio case? i think that depends on the user... if you're out there hanging weights off of it then probably. but normal usage you're fine, i mean i dont know if ive ever heard of one breaking the case(unless from an outside force)

I understand your concern, I've kinda wondered the same thing myself. Still want to get one though.
