View Full Version : Putting Canopy on T-rex 600

I'm new at this and i need assistance putting the canopy on. When i put it on the main gear touches the canopy and the servo arms for the aielorons touch it to. i know i'm doing something wrong but i dont know what. Please help

As far as the servo arms go: Did you put the balls on the inside towards the frame? If so, they should not touch. Also the main gear should not touch the frame. It sounds as if you have a too narrow canopy.
I have had a fair share of canopies on my 600 and I never had one with those problems yet. I would contact your reseller and ask for a replacement.

The canopy for the Nitro version and the Electric version are different in some ways. Perhaps you got the wrong one for your heli.

Why don't you post a photo of how it is installed. Maybe you need to trim your servo arms. Also, did you mount it above or below the tray in the front of the heli ?

Mine touched too. I put the link balls on the inside as Barn Owl mentioned and ground off the surplus servo arm length ... and I used a heat gun to slightly reshape the canopy on the stbd side.

I assume you have to mount below the front tray or it will not be secured.
