I've finally received my V-Bar today, installed it, and been utterly confused. The diagram on p. 9 of the V1.1 manual shows the wiring for "JR/Graupner with Virtual Flybar". I followed that, and found my Throttle Hold was a "collective hold", pitch curves were throttle curves, and throttle curves were pitch curves.

In the diagram, the throttle line from the ESC needs to be plugged into CH1 of the receiver, and the line from "Collective" on the V-Bar needs to plug into CH6.

After a little cursing, I swapped those, and all now appears to be well.

There's nothing like trying to put the 0 point of the pitch curve up to 40% and having it suddenly spool up!

Not sure if this should be a sticky, but it might save some sanity, or at least someone's arm from being thwacked.

LOL! No sticky needed for this Dude. Looks like you where caught off guard instead. Working on new electronics and setups on any heli, you should disconnect the motor anyway.

You lost any fingers then?

Well, the diagram is outright wrong. That was the main reason I suggested it might be worth stickifying. What I did made it worse.

No fingers lost ;) Just got thwacked in the shoulder. I was sitting too close, just having plugged in the battery, for it to get any speed.

It also kinda bugs me that at one setting on the throttle, the ESC both armed, and spooled up. I thought they are supposed to not arm if there is any throttle, or not run if there is no throttle. What happened there makes no sense.
