Anyone have or no where a 1912h/1Y can be picked up. The regular dealers seem to be out. Maybe one of the motor collectors out there has one they would be willing to part with?

Neu posted this about heli motor production.
"All versions of the heli motors are in production. Check with your dealer for stock. We build them as they are ordered. It is the job of the distributors and dealers to order and have on hand stock--we only respond to orders:)"

When i was looking for mine i was directed to that post. Unfortunatly all the stores i contacted gave me the same story. They have ordered but no motors are available to any of them. Me thinks the post was a touch optomistic

I suspect there's an order/production cycle, dependent on how long it takes to make the next batch. The one bit that bugs me is that stores must not be ordering sufficiently. Given their sales record, this almost seems like guaranteed sales, so they should order massively, but apparently aren't.
Something doesn't quite compute...

Yup. Got mine, too. That "send email" thing really does work ;)
I will lay odds, however, that they'll be out before the day is out...

Which heli and what pinion will you use with the 1912h/1Y?

Mine is for my future 8S Logo 600. Probably next year, but I figured I'd get a motor first...

John if you are putting it on a 6003D then on 10s then 13tooth is lowest you can go. 825kv is a bit steep.

To weak.... the best one NEU really offers for this heli is the 1915H/1Y
I'm thinking about an Orbit 30-12 heli expert.

I'm running the 1912/1YH in the Logo 600 3D, 13 tooth pinion on 10S. It is a bit steep on KV but it looks like it should perform fine. 60% on the governor is 2140 rpm on the head, temps are very reasonable, motor never exceeded 135 degrees F and power is VERY VERY GOOD!. I'll post more info with flight durations once I get more flights on it.

I have both the 1915/1Y and the 1912h/1Y ready to try in my awaited 600 3D. I'll be curious to see others results.

Well after 4 more flights here is the verdict, these are average values. Flights were moderate 3D with alot of full pitch and pitch pumping manuevers. The ESC is a little warm but all temp measurements were taken at the heat sink, the circuit boards were 20 degrees cooler. I am going to open up some holes in the top and bottom of the canopy to get some airflow to the componets which should make the temps really nice! Bottom Line, I really like this set up, should be able to fly at least 5 to 5.5 minutes with saftey margin to spare.
Set Up
Logo 600 3D
Neu 1912/1YH
HV85
FP/ EVO 25 3700
13 Tooth Pinion
Flight times 4 minutes
Ambient 88F
Motor Temp 145F
ESC Temp 140F
Battery Temp 115
Power Excellent No Bogging at all.

Can you fill in a few gaps in that list?
- 8S? 10?
- what rotors?
- what headspeed?

Excellent! Thank you! I was thinking I'd have to go to the 1915 to get 10S to work, but could it be the case that the 1912 could be made to work for both 8S and 10S?
