Lots of rain here, so time for some more..
Didn't like the original Vario landing gear, so made myself a custom one. Still working on the details.
Counting about 2700 rivets now, I think still about 1300 to go....

Well,...... all the rivets are mounted now. Total 4400!
Some more details, including custom made socket lampholders out of alu. The Vario ones (GFK) were way to big.
Looks amazing, keep up good work...any new pics? Can't believe no one has posted, looks like you are really taking your time and doing a great job. I am pretty new, just built a Trex 600 E and am ready to fly it..but someday I would like to be able to do a nice scale like this. Anyway, well done and let's see some pics!

Yeah, I would love to see what the progress is like on the heli. You are doing a amazing job. Wish I had that patience. I want to start a Huey UH-1 once I can fly. But if I built one like you did, I doubt I would fly it. I would be to scared.
