CNC Main Grips and bearing order

I was watching the Finless vidoes and in the Upgardes video he menitons that he doesn't feel that the thrust bearings can really work in the CNC grips. He considered changing the install order to get the thrust bearings immediately under the spindle screw and washer.

Has anyone tried this? Comments, good or bad?

I've tried it on plastic grips but I haven't flown it enough to come to a conclusion but I think changing the bearing stack-up is the way to go.

I have not tried it yet myself but it still seems like it is wrong. However the Kasama Grips for the Raptor do the very same thing! I just dont know but the Trex has them on the outside.
