I have three Medusa motors with heat-sinks for sale.

The first is a Medusa 036-050-1600 and it has not been ran. It has one of the mount holes stripped about half way through and a flat spot filed on the 5mm shaft for a pinion grub screw. It also has a NEW wrap around heat sink that comes with it. This motor just came back from Medusa and they told me the motor has no damage and operation will not be effected by the half stripped mount hole. Just use a longer mount bolt but not to exceed 5mm in length into the can. (left picture)
Asking $80.00 shipped

The second is an identical Medusa 036-050-1600 that has about 15 flights on it in a Trex 600e helicopter. Also comes with a used wrap around heat sink.
Asking $65.00 shipped (center picture)

The third is a Medusa 028-032-3400 with a NEW wrap around heat sink. This motor has some time on it but just came back from Medusa with a clean bill of health. (right picture)
Asking $50.00 shipped

I will accept Postal Money Order or Pay Pal as payment, please add 3% if using Pay Pal.
Thanks for looking!

How does the 36-50-1600 perform in the 600? What pack where you running?

And why is the half stripped one more then the perfect one with 15 fights? Did you demag the magnets from heat or somthing???

Thanks

The performance is great. I was running a 6S / 5000mah pack with this motor.

The one with the half stripped mount hole is more because it has never been ran. The other one is not NEW but it runs fine. NO, the magnets are not demagnetized due to high temps although it does run hot, about like the Align 600XL I was running that snapped the shaft.

Thanks for the interest,
Bruce

Not trying to beat you up or anything. Just had to ask about the magnets.

How does the power compair to the 600XL ? I am flying one now with a 10 tooth and can only get 11 degs of pitch. Plus the 8 degs of cyclic pulls the head down some.

Can the medusa keep up or is it the same as the XL?

Thanks
DK

No problem, I can take it. I was running with about 12 degrees pitch and if I remember correctly, the Medusa was almost identical as the 600XL as far as power. It has been a while since I ran the Medusa motor.
See my ad for a NEU 1515/2.5D/F that will not bog at 13.5 degrees pitch and only runs about 145 degrees on temp during the summer. That is the motor if you want extreme power without bogging on a 6S set-up. I am asking $200.00 for it with the 11T pinion installed. I am parting out one of my Trex 600e helicopters.

Thanks,
Bruce

Is the 036-050-1600 still available? If so I would like it.
