As I have one too many scale birds, the wife has told me to thin the flock. Up for sale is a Trex 450 CDE model that has been converted for scale and has been installed into a converted Heliartist Fiberglass Scale Hughs body.
It's a bit of a mish mash of servos/etc as this was a parts bird I threw together specific for the scale body. It flies excellent and looks the part although outside of the body it isn't the prettiest thing (that's why it's IN the body). Includes a 401 Gyro and 99 percent metal head. The rotor also has upgraded metal parts except for the main tail case. I am including one 2200 MAH Xcite Li-po to get you going as well.
The heli can be removed from the body fairly easy for maintenance. Simply remove the tail rotor casing, unscrew the retaining screws in the front that attaches the front of the frame and everything slides out nice (original design wanted you to secure the heli permanently but I wanted to make sure I could get at everything)
The heli is set for +/- 10 degree's and really looks great in the air (I only fly this scale style) as you can tell from my pictures below. All you need is a TX to get it flying. I am including a JR700 slim receiver that is already installed with a Channel 26 Crystal installed (72mhz). This can be removed and $30 taken off the total cost if not wanted. The wires are routed to the front for ease of any RX you could desire.
I flew the bird using a JR 9303 TX which I would also be willing to sell if someone really wants it. It's setup right now.
I want $500 for the Heli/Body/ETC and you can add another $300 if you want the JR9303. Shipping is extra. Thanks for looking.
