The LP6 ensures safe charging of rechargable Lithium batteries(LiPo, LiIo, LiFe) consisting of series-wired cells by employing advanced charging technologies to conviently charge the battery pack. The charging algorithm of LP6 reflects the latest technology, and enables you to make full use of your Lithium batteries at their maximum performance.

- Simple and easy to operate

LP6 can be programed using three buttons to charge various type of Litium batteries. You can set the type of cell, number of cells being charged and charging current. The LED display will show what you set by buttons in simple manner. And it also will show the error code, when it happens.(please note the explanation of error code)

- Micro processor controlled charging process

The LP6 has a high performance micro-processor to control the charging process. LP6 always monitors the whole parameters during process, and gurantees the maximum safety. LP6 can be used with the voltage balancer-PB6, to equalize the voltages of individual cells.

So this looks like more of a field charger which could be used to compliment a BC6?

You can of course use the BC-6 at the field too. This is a great entry level charger that has more capabilities than say the TP 535 for example.
