Anyone tried any other canopies on the Swift? I don't think it's as ugly as some make out but it's a giant PITA to remove and replace. Now that mine's toast something with flat sides (Like the Rex shells) would come in handy.
Thanks!

Sorry, I do not know of any - maybe the one from their new 620 would fit.
Personally I like the Swift canopy. I find it provides great cooling for the motor and esc. I also like the fact that it does not have to be removed every time I change the battery pack, so I seldom ever have to remove it. Consequently, the fact that it is a little more difficult to remove and has a wrap around back, I know it will never come off in the air during any type of extreme maneuver, including hard backwards ones.

Thanks Rav-guess I'll stick with the stocker for now. In my case that giant Align BEC had to go under the front tray, so the canopy has to come off to turn the electronics on and off. I really like the 620 canopy-assuming Century still plans to build it I'll probably go that route when it becomes available.

Here's what I'm working on, it came up pretty decent. Also, since the Hurricane 550 canopy is longer my battery can move forward (my rolls are horrible since it's tail heavy).
Almost forgot, the landing gear is from the E-SMART (E-sky).

Looks great nieves50! I've been wondering if the Hurricane's canopy can be made to fit-now we know! I see the lower mounts just barely make it, but it looks like you were able to use the existing upper mounting holes. Did you have to do any other trimming?

I'll take better pictures and post them later on today. Hardly any modifications required to make it fit...
