I just got my DX7 not too long ago and it is taking forever to charge to full capacity. The manual say 17hours but its been more like 2 in half days already. This the first charge by the way. It is charging because I can see it on the screen. But does it really take this long on the first charge?

Are you waiting for the bar to go to full or just waiting till it gets to 11.6-11.7volts? Cause the stock battery wont make the meter go full.

I am waiting for the charging light on the stock charger to go out. Should I look at the voltage instead. Is 11.6-11.7 full charge?

Oops. Then I guess its charged at 11.5v. One more thing, how long does the batt usually last?
Thanks for the info!

The DX7 comes with either a 50ma or 100ma charger. The 50ma will take 30hours. That's fine after the initial cycle. Then overnight top ups usually works fine. I also use a 300ma wallwart for emergencies. This charges a flat pack in 5 hours. But I use a thermometer that sets an alarm at 36 deg C.
