Mark your calenders for one awesome fun fly hosted by the Palomar RC flyers! We are planning a few events, such as Auto contest, and maybe a Drag Race, Noon Demos, and a whole lot of fun. Planning on serving up Hamburgers/Hotdogs for Saturday.

Are there any camp grounds around there, or can you stay at the field in an RV or trailer? Do you have to register for stuff like that? Also, do you have to register even if you aren't going to fly (ie if my fiance tags along)? I've never been to a funfly, so I'm stoked!

RVs have been welcome there in the past, so I'm pretty sure that will continue. It's just dry camping, though, no hookups.

Anybody can be a spectator....registration is just for pilots.

Do they have a list of rules for the site (ie contraband listings[such as fire pits or grills], camping restrictions, parking arrangements, pets)? I'd rather not bother with a million ?'s on here if they already have it on a PDF or something. Thanks guys!

Mike, The field is basically at the NE corner of I15 and 76. From I15, head East on 76 and turn left on Pankey Road. (MIGHT be 1/10 mile???)

Those are the current sponsors that I have confirmed with thus far, working on some more. Tshirts will be $15 a piece, and they Will come with the registration($30). Bobby Watts, Curtis Youngblood, Alan Szabo, Danny Szabo, Bert Kammer, Jason Krause(So I heard?) are all coming to the funfly! We have a BBQ coach coming down for all 3 days for food service!

Cant wait to see everyone there!!!

There is no pre registration, just pay up front and show your AMA card ;)
