AR 6100 Binding problem

I've a problem with my new Ar6100 receiver to enter in the Binding process.

I plug the bind plug into the BATT port, then i power on the receiver with a separate battery (1.5v x4 (new)) pluged into an unused port (I've tried all the port..).

The amber light blink just one second and automatically become solid.....

Any idea ?
My AR6100 is dead ?

Are you powering up the reciever before the transmitter as per the Manual?
Turn on reciever-light should blink-
Turn on TX holding in the "Bind" button-
should bind in a few seconds....

Check the reciever and see if it has a small round sticker that says ver.1.2.
It may need an upgrade, but it sounds like you should send it in to Horizon.They are excellent on the tech assistance--phone # in the back of the manual-ask for tech support-they'll help you.:thumbup:

You're right the receiver has been sent today to Horizon ...thanks
