So, every year my better half asks me what I want for Xmas and gets mad when I say "nothing". So this year I tossed a mini-T manual in front of her and said "one of these", laughed and carried on with my day. Yesterday she asks "where can I get that from"? *perk* Ohhh xmas may be fun this year. I live in the middle of nowhere (if you don't believe me, check my freak location lol) so its mail order or nothing, so I guess I'll send her off to Great Hobbies' website.

Of course, the downside to this is that she wants a new computer....

What a beautiful place to live..
Looks kinda quiet and isolated indeed :).
Great christmas present to play with btw..
And the new computer is a nice way to keep things in balance..
You play with the MT while she's on the Internet.
Although there's a planet between, it all sounds very familiar

Well, my only real complaint about living here is that its a 14 hour drive to the nearest hobby shop to buy fuel, unless I want to pay purolator to deliver dangerous goods.... about $75CDN for shipping in that case. I've heard that a local company that does gravel crushing has a bunch of guys that do RC trucks though, and they buy fuel in bulk an will sell it, so even that problem may be overcome.

Whitehorse is a gorgous place, have never been but know a few people.

I love great hobbies :D You'll LOVE there prices on Mini Titan parts. Even with the exchange rate to america, they are cheaper on things!

I love christmas too :p Plus my birthday is a week away, and this year I'm 16 :D Trying to convince my mom I need a 10S 3700 Flightpower.. Wish me luck! :D :p

I'm from the UK, just explain to your parents that we pay double what you pay and it will seem a good deal. If you pay $30 for a battery, that means we pay £30 which is $60 at todays exchange rate. If us pommes lived in the States we'd all be flying Raptor 90s with gold plated blades lol
Thats why we come to Vegas, not just for the gambling but to fill out suitcases with RC parts lol

LMAO I wonder if that one will work for me.....

So essential mods: Metal mixing arms.... anything else? I was thinking of getting the JR micro servo combo pack. Unless the HG5000 is finally available by then, nice looking gyro/servo set, although I've heard that the Logictech 2100T (the branded gyro in the set) is a pain to reset after a crash, anyone have any thoughts on that?

Will keep that in mind, thanks. I was wondering about customs on things from the states. They seem to like giving me the shaft.
