As the title says can some one record a demo of hover for me with sticks visible, also can you please record the last couple seconds with hands of the sticks, I want to observe the natural movement of the heli.
I've been using a ESKY transmitter and frankly I find its super sensative and the heli always drifts. I can master most hovering in the training, until I go and do it free style then I float everywhere.

Check out the View Demo/Tutorial, there's some examples of hovering in there.

HI there,
Try this thread out I was participating in a while back. The links should still be active.

The esky transmitter does seem sensetive, but then I have nothing to compare it to. I am getting a DX7 soon, so I will be able to compare then.

FWIW, here's a hover recording. I'm far from 'good'.
I'm doing two things to calm down the heli. 30% Expo on AIL and ELE (DX6 Radio), modified the 3D TREX450 model in Phoenix by reducing both cyclic rates down to 25-30%.
I didn't take my hands off the controls as you asked but I can tell you this: hovering a heli (full scale or model) has been described as something like balancing a marble on the outside of a beach ball. You're always busy on the controls. It's always gonna drift off if left alone for more than a couple seconds.
I'm dailing the EXPO down and the cyclic up as I get quicker and smaller on the controls. But these settings feel pretty much like my real TREX.

Well now that I used my DX7 on pheonix I have no problem hovering at all. They esky transmitter is just garbage its all over the place. Ultra sensative I have to use it with 32% expo to slow it down... Night and day between the two controlers. Thanks for the demos they did help a lot.

Yup. Once you have quality gear, set up right, the weakest link is always the pilot! Me. ;-)
