Did some very high (around 120') forward flight. Tried to bring it back, tail-in. The wind kicked up and tossed the CP+ around. Since the heli was so far away and high, I didn't realize that it went to nose-in and then inverted. Then it started to fall, thinking it was upright, I then gave it full positive pitch. The heli went from 80' straight down (inverted with full positive pitch) and slammed into an unoccupied tennis court. Surprisingly, that crash from 80' up wasn't that bad. I taped up the damaged canopy with scotch tape and had to replace the main shaft/main gear combo and the blades, thats it. Even the blades were still intact after the crash, but too damaged to re-use.
Even though I have a T-Rex 450 SE, I like to keep the CP+ in my car at all times, just in case I see a nice park to fly. And it helps with my flying skills. Flying the CP+ makes flying the T-Rex so much easier. Like they say, "if you can fly a CP, you can fly anything".
