ds285 gear alignment [Archive]

I just stripped the gears on all three of my servos and have ordered the replacement gears to repair them. When I install the new gears do I need to set the throttle mid way or at low stick to center the gears, and since the one shaft controls the pot for the servos again should i set that at low or mid stick. I really could do with the advice here before I strip another set of gears.

No worries, the new gears arrived and are all on and working well. Just need to do a test flight now to make sure.
