problems with FF9 and reflex

hi everyone,
I'm having problems making my FF9 work with reflex xtr. The software starts perfectly but when trying to select controller keeps asking me to turn on the transmitter even if its already on. I have set the radio module to PPM, and created a new model empty, meaning with no special setup yet, but still Reflex doesn't see my radio on.
Anyone can help?
Any setup I should make on the TX? expecially on the trainer submenu?
I'm going nuts on it!!

What radio do you have? Turn it off. Some radio's (JR's for sure) turn on them selves when you plug in the trainer (Sim) plug. Try just plugging in the cord and don't turn it on.

This seems odd to me I started with a new model reset everything set to PPM then turn the transmitter OFF. Now by plugging the xtr interface into the transmitter it will then turn the TX on. Maybe try another USB port on your PC ? other than this I cant think what the problem is unless you have a bent pin or the USB cable has a broken wire.

I initially had problems like this and it turned out to be that the "headphone style" connector into the JR tx was going in too deeply - try not letting it seat all the way and (maybe use a washer if you can demonstrate that inserting part way works). May need to clean contacts also.

Yeah, that could be the same issue. I had problems with the head phone jack too (JR). You really need a gold connector as they work a lot better. The one from Reflex sucked. I replaced mine with one from RS. The old one would not make contact if it got bumped or strained or anything. It got progressively worse and I replaced it. The relfex site even recognized this if I remember correctly. Since I replaced it I haven't had one issue with it. I never got the message you are getting though. I just lost the heli like a radio glitch and crashed and I got tired of it.
