Hey guys after the good things finless has had to say about this heli and since I think the trex 500 will be a while before it comes out I bought a hurricane xes pro. Its RTF except for batts and its got a 600+ century motor and 80-amp esc. What lipo pack would you recommend? 6s how many mah? Thanks guys

Oh yeah I will fix the landing gear also I just noticed they were on backwards looking at the pics although it was probably intentional.

I wonder what a123 setup would work good on this heli with the current motor and esc?

Where did you get that canopy? Is it possible to find after market canopies for the Hurricane somewhere? Also, is the carbon tail fin a Hurricane one (or a t-rex or dunno)?

I think its just a custom painted canopy. I didn't do that it is coming on the heli.

Readyheli has the Evolite 11.1 volt 4250's on sale for 99.95 each. There normally 125 bucks. You have to add them to your "Cart" to see this price.

Canopy looks ok ... the landing skids on backwards looks a lil ridiculous IMO... Have you thought about after market skids at all? More than a few have popped the Trex600 gear on (including myself) I have also seen some nice aluminum raptor skids on one heli, they look more in proportion than the Gaui skids IMO... anyayz...

Yes, I agree the skiddz do look ridiculous on backwards. Also thats a good price on tha batteries I will definatly check those out. I think I will leave the stock skids on until I break them :D which I know will not be long!
