Hi All

I am too setting up a small electric with the 401, DX7 and a lowly tail servo.

I forget what it is will have to double check (it is designed as a tail servo but is a cheapo)
Before someone suggests getting a better servo i would like to exhaust all possibilities for sorting this one out first.

By the way its a Shogun 400 with belt drive conversion and a few other upgrades.

I have set the Gyro gain to the gear channel (im using a AR6200 RX) but cant seem to find a way of switching between HH and Rate mode on the transmitter is this poss?

I hovered the heli for the first time yesterday but even when Gyro is in HH it was not the rock solid tail i was hoping for, not by a long way, i really had to fly the tail.

The Gain setting on the TX is 60% and i have currently no delay set on the gryo its self
I have set the limit pot on the gyro so i don't get any binding on the tail pitch slider and i have also mechanically set the tail with a bit of left rudder when the servo is in its center position.

Any ideas as to how i may improve the gyro performance will be greatly received many thanks

Settings above 50% will mean it is in HH, below 50% will be normal rate. This is how you select the mode.
