Hello,

I want to put a GY611 on my Lepton, but I dont't know, where to place the controlunit. It would be nice, to see some pictures.

Best regards

Unless you already have a GY611 I'd just get the Logictech 6100. It's smaller and will handle anything the lepton can do even with the most insane power/pitch setups. My lepton used to be a literal rocket ship and the logictech could hold the tail easily. You're not going to find many people using the GY611 on a Lepton since there is nowhere to mount the control amplifier.

Wesley-G on RR use 611. I had a 601 on it. You just mount the amps on the other side of the frame opposite to where you would normally mount the ESC with servo tape. Works great! I agreed that the 6100 is a cleaner way to go but 611 is great with the lepton also.

The CSM SL720 or SL630 are both small and high performance units
They work fine on the Lepton

Jafa,

What are your settings on the 720. I had one and just can't keep the tail from wagging in the hover (very slight). I keep messing around with the headhold gain and the conventional gain and just can't find a happy medium. End up getting back to the 611/601. I have also learned that the way the gyro is mounted is very important for CSM gyro.

Hello,

the GY611 is mounted now. The work wasn't too bad. Attached you find a foto of how it looks now.
